Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of Waikiki condos over the years, and honestly? Most of them are either overpriced tourist traps or sketchy budget places that make you question your life choices. This 22nd floor spot is actually different – and I mean that in the best way possible.

First thing that hit me was the view. I know, I know, everyone says that about high-rise condos, but being up on the 22nd floor really does make a difference here. You’re not just looking at the back of another hotel like you do from those lower floors elsewhere. The space itself feels like someone actually lives here part-time (which they probably do) rather than one of those sterile vacation rentals that gets flipped between guests. The kitchen has real dishes – not those sad plastic plates you usually get – and there’s enough counter space that you can actually spread out if you’re feeding a big group. Speaking of big groups, they weren’t kidding about the family-friendly setup. I’ve seen “sleeps 8” condos that technically fit eight people if half of them are okay sleeping on pool floats, but this place genuinely works for larger families without everyone getting on each other’s nerves.

What really sold me though was the parking situation. You know what’s wild about Waikiki? You can drop $300 a night on a hotel room and they’ll still charge you $45 for parking like it’s some kind of luxury add-on. Having that included here actually saves you serious money – and more importantly, you don’t have to circle the block for twenty minutes every time you want to grab groceries or hit up one of the beaches that isn’t completely packed with tour groups. The WiFi thing might sound basic, but again, you’d be surprised how many places in this area still treat internet like it’s 1995. This was fast enough that I could actually work from here a few mornings without wanting to throw my laptop off the balcony. The building itself has that slightly worn-in feel that I actually prefer – it’s clean and well-maintained, but it doesn’t have that antiseptic new-construction vibe that makes everything feel temporary. You can tell people actually live here year-round, which means the elevators work properly and there’s not construction noise at 7 AM every day. I mean, it’s still Waikiki, so it’s not exactly a zen retreat, but the 22nd floor keeps you above most of the street-level chaos while still being close enough to walk down to the beach or grab dinner without needing to plan a whole expedition.
