The property sits right where you want to be for ocean access, though I’ll be straight with you – it’s not brand new. The 4-star rating feels about right; everything works well and the decor is tasteful without being stuffy, but don’t expect that just-renovated smell everywhere. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even during peak season. The penthouse suites (which, let’s be honest, is what you’re really considering here) have solid soundproofing, and the layout actually makes sense – none of that weird hotel design where the bathroom door opens into the bed or whatever. The kitchenette situation is legit too, with a full-size fridge and decent counter space, which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh seafood from the local markets and actually do something with it.

Check-in was smooth, no drama, and the front desk staff seemed to know the area well – they pointed me toward this little coffee spot about three blocks inland that locals hit up, way better than the tourist traps closer to the beach. Parking’s included, which honestly saves you a headache and probably fifty bucks a night in this area. The pool deck gets busy around 2-4 PM, but early morning or evening it’s perfect for just floating around while watching the waves. I’d say the 8.0 rating makes sense – it’s solidly good without being flawless. A few minor things could use attention (the elevator’s a bit slow, some of the balcony furniture’s seen better days), but nothing that really impacted my stay. If you’re looking for that oceanfront experience without the resort-level crowds and pricing, this place hits a sweet spot.
