Honestly, when I first walked up to View House Tower, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name sounds a bit dramatic, doesn’t it? But you know what, it actually lives up to the hype. This place sits in one of those spots where you immediately understand why someone decided to build a hotel there, and the 9-point-something rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed a night or two.

The thing that really got me was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about the small stuff. I mean, check-in was smooth (no waiting around while they hunt for your reservation), and they actually remembered my coffee preference by the second morning – which, let’s be honest, is pretty rare these days. The rooms themselves have this comfortable, lived-in feel without being worn down, if that makes sense. The beds are properly firm, the shower pressure is excellent, and there’s enough space to actually unpack without everything looking like a tornado hit. I particularly loved the windows – they’re these large panels that let in tons of natural light, and depending on which side of the building you’re on, you’ll get some genuinely impressive views. The whole “tower” thing isn’t just marketing speak.

What really sets this place apart though is how it feels like they’ve thought through the guest experience without making a big deal about it. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (shocking, I know), there’s proper soundproofing so you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway, and the common areas have this relaxed vibe where you might actually want to hang out rather than just rush through. I spent a good hour one evening just sitting in their lounge area with a book – something I rarely do at hotels. The location works well too; you’re close enough to the action that you can walk to most places you’d want to go, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s driven in the area will appreciate. Look, it’s not perfect – the elevator can be a bit slow during busy periods, and the breakfast selection, while decent, isn’t going to blow you away. But honestly? Those are pretty minor complaints when everything else clicks so well together. This is one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  We had a great time, the house is cozy and in very good condition, the location is few minutes far from shops and markets and the best beaches in Kauai . the beds are very comfortable and the living room is bright and welcoming. The pool is perfect for the kids

  The location was easy to find, conveniently located to main road, grocery store and other shops and the beach. It’s an hour drive from the other side of the island where many of the activities we had planned were located, so plan accordingly. The house is awesome, all that you need for a vacation away including: beach chairs, coolers, noodles for the pool and starter ingredients in the cabinet. The beds are super comfortable, and being able to wash clothes was awesome! Great binder with information about the island and must knows for a Kauai stay. Completely recommend this location!

  View from the upper floor (Kitchen & living room) was fantastic. Kitchen was well equipted. Close to stores and beach access. Nice but under used pool areas. Laundry worked well and set up was nice. Plenty of beach accessories on site.

  Schön gelegen, perfekt ausgestattet so dass keine Wünsche offen blieben, unzählige Handtücher und eine wirklich traumhafte Einrichtung, man hat sich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt, Anreise bzw einchecken war unfassbar unkompliziert und es wurde mehrfach nachgefragt ob alle passt.
