You’re literally a two-minute walk from Kuhio Beach, which is way less crowded than the main Waikiki strip but still has that gorgeous sand and those ridiculous blue-green waters that make your Instagram followers hate you.

What really sold me on this particular unit was the ocean view they weren’t kidding about – from the lanai, you can see past the palm trees straight out to Diamond Head, and honestly, watching the sunrise from there with your morning coffee is worth the price alone. The free parking thing might sound trivial until you realize that most hotels in Waikiki charge $40-50 a night just to park your car, so that’s already saving you serious money. The condo itself feels lived-in rather than sterile – there’s actual personality here, with local artwork and furniture that doesn’t scream “rental property.” The kitchen is fully equipped, which means you can grab fresh poke from Foodland on Keeaumoku Street (about a five-minute drive) and actually enjoy it properly instead of eating overpriced hotel food. The building has this great pool deck on the sixth floor that most tourists don’t even know about, and it’s usually pretty quiet during weekday afternoons.

You know what I really appreciated? The little details that show someone who knows the area set this place up. There are beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet, boogie boards, even a cooler – stuff that would cost you a fortune to rent separately. The location puts you right in the heart of things without being on the chaos of Kalakaua Avenue, so you can walk to Duke’s or the International Market Place when you want action, but you’re not dealing with street noise all night. The building’s got that old-school Hawaiian condo vibe where you’ll see the same families coming back year after year, which tells you something. Sure, the elevators are a bit slow and the hallways have that slightly musty smell that comes with ocean air and age, but honestly, those are minor complaints when you’re paying significantly less than resort prices and getting a genuine local experience. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re actually staying in Hawaii rather than just visiting a hotel that happens to be in Hawaii, this is your spot.

  Perfect location, just 2 minutes walking to Waikiki beach. Having a laundry room was a huge help and it’s very easy to use. The apartment itself was in perfect condition with spotless cleaning, tastefully furbished, has amazing view and you can watch the sunsets from the balcony. Having free parking was probably the biggest plus as parking anywhere else would have been so expensive if you are staying longer. Instructions to enter the building was given well in time and it’s an easy access. Absolutely 10/10 and 100% recommend!!! 🙂
