Sometimes the best finds are the ones that surprise you, and this little collection of condos absolutely nailed it. The whole CoralTree Residence thing means you’re basically staying in someone’s actual vacation condo, not some cookie-cutter hotel room, which explains a lot about why it feels so… real, I guess.

The units themselves are scattered across this low-key residential complex that honestly feels more like a neighborhood than a resort – and I mean that in the best possible way. You’ll get a proper kitchen (actually useful, not just a mini-fridge situation), and the living spaces have that lived-in comfort you can’t fake. What really got me was how quiet it stays here, even during peak season. You’re close enough to all the Wailea action that you can walk to the Grand Wailea or Four Seasons beaches when you want that resort vibe, but far enough removed that you’re not dealing with the constant shuffle of tour groups and poolside music. The parking situation is refreshingly normal too – none of that valet-only nonsense that costs you $40 a day elsewhere.

Here’s the thing about this place that most people don’t realize until they’re here: you’re positioned perfectly to skip the tourist traps without missing anything important. The local farmers market on Saturday mornings? Five minutes away. That little shave ice spot the locals actually go to instead of the overpriced resort versions? Right there. And honestly, having a real kitchen means you can grab fresh fish from the market and cook it yourself while watching the sunset from your lanai – which, let’s be real, beats paying $60 for the same fish at a restaurant down the road. The management company keeps things running smoothly without being all up in your business, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I mean, it’s not fancy-fancy – don’t expect marble everything or a concierge in a suit – but that 9.5 rating isn’t accidental. It’s the kind of place that gets the fundamentals so right that you find yourself booking your next stay before you’ve even checked out.

  Property is gorgeous! The gold course and ocean view are amazing. a nice quiet area for families.

  Location was awesome. AIr conditioning needs improving. Hall air conditioning was very ineffective. In the twin bed room, the air conditioning did not work. Had to call the maintenance twice in 3 days. Kitchen was very well equipped. No problems there. Felt the bathroom was a little small in the king bedroom. The view from my apartment was truly magnificent. Ample space to park. Another very important point is we didn’t exactly know where to check in until we called the number. The office isn’t exactly next to the apartments. I think guests need to be made aware of this. Took me a good 1 hr to check in after a long flight.

  Tolle, ruhige Lage, direkt am Golfplatz mit Meerblick. Von der gemütlich eingerichteten Terrasse konnten wir traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Die Wohnung hatte eine neue, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Bequeme Sitzmöbel, gute Betten mit einer leider unglaublich schweren Bettdecke. Strandstühle und Strandhandtücher waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Wohnung wurde alle drei Tage gut gereinigt.
