Wailea Elua Village – CoralTree Residence Collection Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Wailea Elua Village – CoralTree Residence Collection, you immediately get that “this isn’t your typical hotel” feeling. It’s more like stepping into an upscale residential community where you just happen to be staying temporarily. The four-star property has this relaxed Maui vibe that somehow manages to feel both polished and unpretentious — honestly, it’s exactly what you’d want from a place in Wailea.
The Accommodations
Each apartment here feels like someone’s well-appointed vacation home rather than a standard hotel room. The units come with full kitchens (which, let me tell you, is a game-changer when you’re staying more than a few nights), and the living spaces actually give you room to spread out. I mean, after a day of exploring the island, you want somewhere you can really unwind, not just crash on a bed. The lanais — that’s what they call the balconies here — offer views that range from garden glimpses to ocean vistas, depending on which unit you snag.
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about the location: you’re right in the heart of Wailea’s resort corridor, but the property itself feels tucked away from the hustle. The Shops at Wailea are practically next door when you need to grab something or want a nice dinner out, and you’ve got some of Maui’s best beaches within walking distance. Wailea Beach is gorgeous, sure, but honestly? I found myself heading to Ulua Beach more often — it’s just a short stroll and tends to be a bit less crowded.
Amenities That Actually Matter
The pool area is where you’ll probably spend your downtime, and it’s got that perfect balance of being social without feeling like a zoo. There’s parking included, which might not sound exciting until you realize how much some Maui hotels charge for it. The property also has tennis courts if that’s your thing, though I’ll be honest — I was usually too busy soaking up the Hawaiian sun to think about exercise. What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything felt, from the landscaping to the common areas.
Why Guests Love It
You know what sets this place apart? It’s that residential feel combined with hotel-level service when you need it. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the space and privacy — there’s something romantic about having your own little Hawaiian hideaway rather than just another hotel room. The fact that recent guests consistently rate the location so highly tells you something real about how convenient yet peaceful this spot really is. It’s the kind of place where you can cook breakfast on your lanai one morning and walk to a fancy restaurant the next night, all while feeling like you’re living in Wailea rather than just visiting.

The location was superb. It wasn’t crowded like many places in Maui and had great restaurants near it, including coffee shops, ice cream and a pharmacy that we used. It also had a nice mall that was wonderful to go to for healthy food. Also of note, parking was very convenient. The cleaning service did an excellent job. We loved having access to a washer and dryer. The view of the ocean was incredible!
