The kitchen is stocked with proper dishes (not just plastic everything like some vacation rentals), there’s a decent coffee maker, and they even had local honey in the pantry – small touch, but it matters. The AC works great, which you’ll appreciate during those sticky afternoon hours, and the Wi-Fi is solid if you need to check in with work or upload photos. Parking is straightforward too, no hunting around the complex wondering where you’re supposed to leave your car. The pool area gets busy with families around 2-3 PM, but if you go early morning or after dinner, you’ll practically have it to yourself. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the shower pressure is actually fantastic – something you don’t realize you miss until you’re dealing with a trickle in some fancy resort down the coast. The whole setup just works without any fuss, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to unwind and explore the Big Island without worrying about your home base.

  The apartment is spacious, clean and has all the necessary amenities for a successful holiday. We liked the very comfortable terrace where we had breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped. Nice bathrooms. Excellent.
