You know what struck me first about this place? Those high ceilings actually make a difference – I mean, you walk in and it doesn’t feel like you’re cramped into some converted office space like half the downtown rentals around here. The 2BR setup is pretty solid for the price point, though honestly, calling it a “hotel” is a bit generous since it’s more of an apartment-style stay. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The free parking situation is honestly the real winner here, and I can’t stress this enough if you’ve ever tried to find a spot downtown on a Friday night. Most places either charge you an arm and a leg or you’re circling blocks for twenty minutes looking for street parking that doesn’t exist. Here, you’ve got a dedicated spot and you can actually relax about it. The WiFi works fine too – I was able to stream stuff and do video calls without any drama, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed.
Look, it’s a solid 7.3 rating for a reason – it does what it says on the tin without any major surprises. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile (some people might call that “worn” but I found it comfortable), and you’re genuinely in the heart of things without paying those premium downtown hotel rates. Is it going to wow you with luxury touches? Nah. But if you want a real apartment feel where you can spread out, cook if you want to, and not worry about parking or internet, it hits the mark. I’d probably book it again, especially if I was staying more than a couple nights and wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local.
