So I’ve stayed at the Executive Hotel Suite Downtown a handful of times now, and honestly? It’s one of those places that grows on you. First impression walking in – it’s not trying to be fancy, which I actually appreciate. The lobby’s got this sort of business-traveler vibe, clean but not stuffy, and the front desk staff actually remembers your name if you’ve been there before (rare these days, you know?).

The real selling point here is that free parking situation – and I mean, if you’ve ever tried to park downtown anywhere, you know that’s basically like finding gold. The lot’s right there, no walking three blocks with your luggage in the rain or anything. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place. Nothing that’ll blow your mind, but the beds are comfortable enough, and there’s actually decent space to spread out your stuff. I mean, the decor’s a bit dated – think early 2000s business hotel – but everything works. Good water pressure in the shower, which honestly matters more to me than thread count. The AC can be a little loud at night, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

What I really like about this place is the location without the chaos. You’re downtown, sure, but it’s not right in the thick of all the late-night bar noise. Still, you can walk to most of the good restaurants and actually find the stuff locals go to, not just the tourist traps. There’s this little coffee place about two blocks over that opens at 6 AM – perfect if you’re an early riser like me. The hotel’s continental breakfast is… well, it’s continental breakfast, but they do have decent coffee and the pastries are fresh. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what it promises. Staff’s helpful when you need them, rooms are clean, and you’re not dealing with any major headaches. I keep coming back because it just works, you know? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re traveling for business or just want a straightforward place to crash without the fuss.

  It was spacious and had a kitchen which was what we wanted. Newly upgraded which was great.
  Kitchen had all utensils we needed and Walmart directly behind the building which was super useful considering we were travelling with a baby (it also came with a playpen which was great!!!)

  When we checked in the unit was spotless. We appreciated the user friendly amenities, which included a full kitchen with large refrigerator, washer and dryer and a separate bedroom. The parking was free with easy in and out access. We stayed at the Executive 11 nights in March 2022.
