The split AC situation is honestly a game-changer if you’ve ever stayed in older Hawaiian accommodations where you’re stuck with those ancient wall units that sound like freight trains. This setup keeps the place consistently cool without the noise drama, which means you can actually sleep with the windows open to catch those trade winds if you want. I spent most evenings on what I’m pretty sure is a newly redone lanai, watching the sunset with a beer – the kind of simple pleasure that makes you forget about your flight home.
