  This property is hands down one of the best I have stayed at on the Big Island. It’s a true gem that offers a peaceful, comfortable and clean space that feels like home. The outdoor areas are beautiful with natural landscaping, tall, established trees and cheerful sounds of birds. The covered deck offers a hot tub, table and chairs, and a hammock for lounging. Built by a shipbuilder, the house it itself has unique character and efficient design. I truly appreciate the care and thoughtfulness that went into building the home as well as how responsive and helpful Thom is. As the manager of the property, Thom has thought of possibly every detail to make one’s stay there comfortable and convenient. From beach towels to aluminum foil and plastic wrap, we had everything we needed there which saved us from having to drive about 15 minutes to a nearby store to buy things.

  The property was absolutely gorgeous it certainly didn’t disappoint! We were pleasantly surprised to find the hot tube worked since most of the reviews said it was out of order. The property is located on an old fruit nursery and some of the fruit trees still remain so we had access to fresh fruit the entire stay from oranges to starfruit they were all excellent! This is truly a unique property and I would recommend it if your looking for a more private getaway.

  The surroundings are amazing, very peaceful and secluded. The building is definitely unique, shaped liked a boat. There is so much space in the yard. Our host Thom was exceptional, he took care of our every need.

  It was further away from Hilo than I realized which made for a lot of driving. The relatively secluded and quiet neighbourhood was very nice. The hot tub was a nice addition. The kitchen, BBQ, and laundry were very well appreciated. We made smoothies with fresh fruit, partly from the yard.

Komplett ausgestattet incl. grossrr Küche und – Whirlpool auf der schönen Rundum-Terrasse…. Ideal zum relaxen und entspannen, auch mit Kindern,…. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt…. , sehr empfehlenswert….
