The building itself is one of those older condos from the ’70s that dot Waikiki, which means you get way more space than those cramped hotel rooms for about half the price. And here’s the kicker – free parking. I mean, do you know how rare that is in Waikiki? Most places charge $40+ a night just to park your car.

The location is pretty solid too, though it’s not right on the beach (which honestly might be a good thing – less tourist chaos). You’re about a five-minute walk to Kapiolani Park, which locals actually use for morning runs and weekend picnics, so you get that authentic island vibe without the Kalakaua Avenue circus. The apartment itself feels modern enough – they’ve clearly updated the kitchen and bathroom from whatever beige nightmare existed before. The bedroom actually fits a real bed, not one of those cramped queen situations where you’re bumping into walls. There’s this little lanai that faces… well, it depends which unit you get, but even the partial ocean views are pretty decent when you’re sipping your morning coffee.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Yeah, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s Waikiki, not a monastery – but once evening hits, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The building has this old-school Hawaiian apartment feel where neighbors actually acknowledge each other in the elevator, which you don’t get much anymore. The pool area is nothing fancy, but it’s clean and usually not packed with screaming kids (though weekends can get a bit busier). Honestly, for a 3-star place pulling a 9.2 rating, they’re doing something right. You’re close enough to walk to Duke’s for sunset drinks or hit up those food trucks on Monsarrat Avenue that locals swear by, but far enough from the Kalakaua madness that you can actually sleep. Plus – and this might sound weird – but having a real kitchen means you can grab some local fish from the KCC Saturday market and actually cook it, instead of dropping $50 on mediocre hotel room service every night.

  Location was perfect walking distance to the beach. Everything was very clean and had 3 beds. It was not crowded at all and even had a small kitchen which was perfect.

  Convenient floor, was nearby the pool floor on level 6.
  Cleanliness was good.
  We asked for some extra towels and was provided with it.
  Their was a laundry room on the same floor, very convenient.
  Fridge, cutlery, plates, and coffee maker was present.
