Hotel Description
You know what? The Charming Royal Garden condo is one of those places that grows on you. When I first walked in, I’ll be honest – it felt pretty standard, maybe even a bit tired around the edges. But after spending a few days there, I actually started appreciating what it offers, especially if you’re not looking to blow your budget on accommodation.
The “garden” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff – there really is a nice little courtyard area that’s surprisingly peaceful. I mean, it’s not going to win any landscaping awards, but it’s got these mature trees that provide decent shade, and honestly, it was my go-to spot for morning coffee when the lobby got too crowded. The condo setup works well if you’re staying more than just a night or two. You get a proper kitchenette (the fridge actually stays cold, which isn’t always a given at this price point), and there’s enough counter space to prep simple meals. The living area is larger than typical hotel rooms, though the furniture has definitely seen better days – that couch has some stories to tell.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even on weekends. The building seems well-insulated, and I never had issues with noise from neighboring units or street traffic. Check-in was straightforward, though they do close the front desk pretty early – something like 9 PM – so don’t plan on any late arrivals without calling ahead. The staff is genuinely helpful when they’re around; they pointed me toward a local market that was way better than the tourist traps I would’ve found on my own. Parking is included, which is actually a bigger deal than it sounds like in this area. The 7.0 rating seems about right – it’s solid without being spectacular. You’re not getting luxury finishes or fancy amenities, but everything works, it’s clean, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole place. If you’re the type who spends most of your time exploring anyway and just needs a comfortable base to crash at night, the Charming Royal Garden delivers exactly that without any unnecessary frills or inflated prices.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Hawaii at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak winter season when the islands host numerous cultural festivals and outdoor activities.

The room and the view were nice overall. Big fridge with a freezer, a desk, a quite big balcony with a table and two chairs (but lacks a table inside where you could eat)
